Central Arkansas Business Brokers: Selling Your Business

Have You Thought About Selling Your Business?

If you've considered selling your business, then read on. This section includes our sales letter (below), which covers the basics of how we handle the sale of your business. Read further for information on how we proceed at and after the first meeting, as well as the variety of services we provide when selling your business.

No Sale, No Fee!

There will be no up front fees or commissions.

There will be no charge backs for advertising and or marketing.

The only time I am paid, is when I sell your business, period.

Confidentiality will be maintained at all times as I respond to calls and emails about your business. The only time a prospective buyer learns about you is when he agrees to meet at my office, to read and sign a non-disclosure agreement. This is inconvenient to some people, but if the buyer is serious, he will take the meeting. I will also inquire about how much money they can invest and their personal business experiences to find a qualified buyer for your business.

I will do the marketing, the presentation and sale of your business personally. From the assembling of the necessary information to the offer and acceptance, to the sale and closing, I will be there.

I live and work here in Arkansas -- just like you. I have been a soldier and a teacher, as well as being on my own since 1988. My wife and I have made payroll, hired and fired people, wrestled with customers and been irritated by bankers. We know what it's like to roll up your sleeves and be business owners, first-hand.

As the time arrives for you to make the change in your life, call me to setup a face-to-face meeting for you to learn more about me and what i do and how i do it, to sell your business. This first meeting is my job interview; I will not have a pen and contract in hand to push you for the listing. This meeting is for your education about me, and the service I provide.

Thank you for your time,
Tom Redican

How We Do Business With You, The Seller

First -- we don't get paid until you do. There will be no up front fees or charges for anything at all. I only get paid when I fulfill the contract for the sale of your business -- period. The commission is based on the actual selling price and the percent varies with the size of the sale.

When we meet for the first time, I will not push you to sign a contract. This first meeting is for you to visit with me and see if I am someone you would be comfortable doing business with. I will also explain the process by which I market and negotiate the sale of your business as well as what it costs to do business with me.

At the end of this meeting, I will provide you with a written list of references and a copy of the non-disclosure the potential buyers sign. Also, I will provide a list of information I will need to take the next step, which is valuing your business.

At our second meeting, I will provide you, in writing, the valuation and explanation of what I believe we can sell the business for. At that point, if we are in agreement, I will then ask for the listing contract. The listing is a contract that binds me to act as your agent and protect your interests at all times during the sale process.
